Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

This page explains what happens with your information when you visit xyloquint.com (the "Site"), operated by Aram Kovach doing business as Xyloquint. This Site doesn't ask you to create an account, and doesn't use cookies for advertising. It does use Google Analytics to understand traffic — but only after you say that's OK, via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Reject it, or don't answer, and no analytics cookie is set.

1. Cookies and analytics

This Site uses Google Analytics (GA4), which — if you accept — sets cookies to measure visits, pages viewed, and general traffic patterns (things like approximate location, device type, and referring site). We use this only to understand how the Site is used; we don't use it for advertising, and we don't sell or share this data with third parties beyond Google's own role as the analytics provider.

Consent is off by default. A banner appears on your first visit asking you to Accept or Reject. Your choice is remembered on this device (via localStorage, not a cookie itself) so you're not asked again. You can change your mind at any time using "Cookie preferences" in the footer, which reopens the same choice.

If you reject or don't respond, Google's tag still loads in the background (so your choice can be recorded correctly if you change it later), but it is technically prevented from storing or reading any analytics cookie, or sending identifiable data, until you accept.

2. Information you send us directly

The only other way we receive information from you is if you choose to email us (see Contact below), in which case we receive whatever you include in that email — typically your email address and whatever you write. We use that only to respond to you. We don't sell, rent, or share it with third parties, and we don't add you to any mailing list without your separate, explicit opt-in.

3. Third-party platforms and embedded content

This Site links out to third-party platforms — SoundCloud, TikTok, Patreon, LinkedIn, X, and others listed in the footer — for streaming, support, and social presence. Once you leave this Site for one of those platforms, their own privacy policy applies, not this one. We don't control what those platforms collect.

The interactive AR/VR preview on this Site runs entirely in your browser as a self-hosted file — it doesn't send any data anywhere itself, and requires no third-party service to render, independent of the analytics consent above.

4. Children's privacy

This Site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

5. International visitors and your rights

Xyloquint's catalog and audience span many countries and languages, so visitors reach this Site from jurisdictions with their own data-protection rules — including the EU/EEA (GDPR) and California (CCPA). In practice: analytics only runs if you actively opt in via the cookie banner, which is itself the consent GDPR requires for non-essential cookies; you can withdraw that consent at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer, as easily as you gave it. Beyond analytics, the only personal data we hold is whatever you've sent us by email, and you can request access to or deletion of that at any time by contacting us below.

6. Changes to this policy

If what this Site collects or does changes further, this page will be updated to reflect that honestly, with a new "last updated" date above.
